Use when the liturgical occasion (feast) is not known due to missing leaves that previously contained this information, fragmented texts, and losses of a rubrics in other ways  (except by erasure, which is covered by 'litura'). Unknown at present, but perhaps not unknowable with future research or the discovery of contiguous manuscript leaves.
